The Cosmic Neutrino Background is a solid prediction of the Standard Model of Cosmology
and Particle Physics. There is plenty of indirect evidence for its existence but so far it escaped
direct detection. I will explain the difficulties in such an endeavor and present some recent ideas
and proposals for it. Interestingly, some of the proposals could act simultaneously as a dark matter
experiment.
