Control over energy spectrum of free electron bunch is theoretically investigated. Typical undulator is made of a series of magnets with a period of 25 mm [1] whose alternating magnetic field deflects a beam of charged particles. The resulting periodic trajectory of charged particles subsequently causes emission of radiation with tunable frequency. We add wire teeth aside to make electrons resonate due to the parametric resonance induced by the magnetic field produced by wire teeth. Selection of appropriate electrons and hole-burning effect caused by the parametric resonance can be observed in our simulation. This suggests an application of parametric control of free electron light source.
