Monolayers of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) are ideal building blocks for constructing artificial 2D lattices.[1-5] Artificial hybrid systems of monolayer TMDs are intriguing for exploring new physics and advanced applications. Here, high quality interface of the laterally-stitched TMDs and vertically-stacked monolayers are realized and studied. Emission of the CVD-grown monolayers is engineered with various heterogeneous integrations.[2,6] Some potential applications of the hybrid 2D systems will be discussed.[2, 6]
