Quantum Secure Communication: Implementation and Possible Improvement

High-purity single photons are essential to quantum secure communication. In this talk, we will present our work on the purification of single photons from colloidal quantum dots at room temperature [Phys. Rev. Lett. 119, 143601 (2017)]. We will also report our progress on the field test of quantum key distribution.
