We present our recent results for tensor network calculations in models for high energy physics. In particular, we will discuss the 1+1 the CP(N-1) model which is asymptotically free and shows a non-perturbative generated mass gap. We demonstrate that in this models tensor networks can overcome the sign problem and outperform classical Markov chain Monte Carlo methods allowing to reach small values of the lattice spacing.
